Today’s garden surprise: Blue-Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium)

Lo and behold, I discovered that the blue-eyed grass had started blooming. Though they look like a grass, they’re actually in the iris family. I love how it’s backlit in the afternoon. There are also bluebonnets and ajuga blooming in that area, so it’s quite the blue party.
